As students of the Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Diploma of Culinary Practice, we invite you to Hākari i Otago – Feast upon Otago.This event celebrates the richness of Otago through its kai. Enjoy a delicious evening immersed in the landscapes, sounds and flavours of Otago, while discovering the stories behind our regional kai and connecting with some of our local suppliers. Join us as we showcase a variety of dishes featuring our region’s shellfish, wild and farmed meats, nuts, grains, dairy, honey and more.
This event is part of our Manaakitaka for Kai, and Culinary Management and Leadership courses, and is student-led, with facilitation from kaiako.

Ticket cost includes $50 for five courses plus and non-alcoholic drink matches. If you would like to purchase an alcoholic beverage, a bar serving local wines, beers, and spirits will be open throughout the event.
As this event is part of Otago Polytechnic End of Year Student Showcase, there may be a videographer and/or photographer present capturing content.
