A few months ago Simon, the chair of the section, was lucky to beamong a small crowd in a Dunedin venue to see Chasing Adventure, three quite extraordinary movies presented by Tarras-based kiwi adventurer, film maker and multi-sports athlete, Scott
Wortthington. Scott is bringing the movies down to Dunners again and will show them to us in the Met ro Cinema in Moray Place, with time for questions. There are three movies and the evening will run for about 2 hours.
SOLO Greenland takes us on Scott 's kayak/land mission to the remote east coast of Greenland, while Revenant - The Race of Hope and Failure tells the story of one of the world's toughest ultra adventure races, held right here in the South Island of New Zealand. Around the Bend documents Scott's attempt (along
with a mate from Hokitika) to beat the fastest known time for paddling the entire length of the Yukon River completely
unsupported - 3,000km, in very remote country, from Whitehorse in Canada to the Bering Sea in Alaska.
Tickets are $24 and are first-come, first-served (max 4) at

limited.
Funds raised will be split between the club and the Cancer Society.
