About the venue: A two-floor bar with a patio, rated 4.3 from over 900 reviews and in the lowest price band. It opens at 11:30am and closes at midnight every day, so timing is unconstrained. Reviewers mention around 50 taps weighted towards local Charleston breweries, and describe a young, lively crowd — worth knowing if you want a quieter room for conversation.
Getting there: The venue is on upper King Street, Charleston's main run of bars and restaurants, and the district is very walkable. There is no rail transit, so arrival is by car, rideshare or CARTA bus. The Midtown Garage at 558 King Street is four minutes' walk and open 24 hours at around $3 an hour — but note reviewers report the daily maximum resets at midnight, so an evening that runs past twelve can be charged as two days.
