The season kicks off with a whirlwind blast of emotional energy and dazzling imagery. At the starting line is arguably the most recognizable of all overtures… the William Tell by Rossini. A symphonic suite from Studio Ghibli’s iconic Howl’s Moving Castle follows, along with Dance of the Hours from Disney’s Fantasia (1940). Headlining our season debut is an autobiographical tour-de-force as romantically beautiful as it is deliciously dark: Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique.
