Thomas is hosting an event to launch his latest report LIP Service: London's Crumbling Roads, which is focused on the war on motorists in London, the deterioration of road maintenance, and the lack of action from the Mayor of London. We will be joined by our keynote speaker and special guest Gareth Bacon MP, Member of Parliament for Orpington and Shadow Minister for London.
As Assembly Member for Bexley & Bromley and Deputy Chairman of the London Assembly Transport Committee, this is an area which Thomas is particularly passionate about and he would love for you to attend the launch event and hear your views about ways we can support the condition of London’s roads.
The event will be taking place at City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE on Wednesday 4th March 2026 (nearby stations: Royal Victoria DLR, Canning Town Jubilee Line, Custom House Elizabeth Line). With the agenda planned as follows:
09:30: Arrivals, tea/coffee, networking
10:00: Start of event, keynote speakers, report launch
11:00: End of event, departures
