About this Event
Most organisations would say they value open and honest feedback. But how comfortable are people actually giving it, asking for it or hearing something they might not want to hear?
In this practical, interactive session, Ric Hayden, Founder and Managing Director of LearningCog, will explore what it takes to create a workplace where honest conversations are part of everyday working life, rather than something saved for appraisals or when things go wrong.
You’ll look at why feedback can feel uncomfortable, the role trust and psychological safety play in helping people speak openly, and how leaders can make giving, receiving and asking for feedback feel more natural.
Through discussion and practical activities you’ll explore:
- What a healthy feedback culture actually looks like, and what gets in the way
- How to build the trust and psychological safety needed for honest conversations
- Practical ways to make feedback easier to give, ask for and receive
- How to turn feedback into meaningful development and action
You’ll leave with practical approaches you can start using straight away, whether you’re looking to improve conversations within your own team or supporting other organisations with their people and culture.
This session is particularly useful for managers and business leaders, human resource or learning and development professionals, coaches and consultants that work with teams.
