Join us for the official launch of House of Community CIC at Poplar Union - an afternoon celebrating creativity, connection and community.
This open, family-friendly event is a chance to meet the people behind House of Community, learn about our projects, and experience the kind of welcoming, creative spaces we’re building across East London.

- Free drop-in craft activities
- Board games and playful creative stations
- Information about our projects and ways to get involved
- A small shop with affordable artworks and fundraising items
- Get goodies from E5 Bakehouse next door

Programme highlights
- 12 pm - Doors Open (free crafts, acitvities, networking)
- 1 pm - Welcome & introduction to House of Community CIC
- 1:30 pm - Draw Each Other with Lio (ticketed workshop)
- 2:15 pm - Guest performance
- 3pm - Cardboard Build Challenge (all ages welcome)
- 3.30 pm - Raffle winner announcement
- 4 pm - Doors Close
Most activities are free and drop-in.
The Draw Each Other workshop hosted by Lio's Art is ticketed. Please be aware that the workshop must be attended as pairs and the one ticket includes two people. All ages welcome.
Whether you stay for the whole afternoon or just pop in, you’re very welcome. Come as you are - no creative experience needed.
