About this Event
Calling all freaks! Do you love to read disgusting, spine-tingling horror novels whose plots you can’t describe in polite company? Join Bond House Books on the third Wednesday of every month for thoughtful book discussions in horror-loving community.
This month for October Classics we’ll be meeting to discuss The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. In this classic 1959 psychological horror, Dr. Montague assembles a party to investigate supernatural occurances at Hill House, including Eleanor, who has a paranormal past of her own. As unexplained phenomena pile up, each visitor develops their own theory of the house's power. Come see why Shirley Jackson is considered the mother of the modern haunted house!
