Join us for Laughter yoga at the Lexington Salt Cave and discover the amazing medicine of laughter! No flexibility or sense of humor required!!
Laughing for no reason is a purely physical process that uses simple breathing techniques and fun laughter exercises to elicit laughter, without relying on humor, jokes, or comedy.
Laughter's medicine will decrease stress and anxiety, improve your mood, strengthen your immune system, oxygenate the body, and is a natural pain killer.
It’s based on the scientific fact that the body cannot tell the difference between fake and real laughter. By practicing laughter as an exercise, you learn how to access the medicine of laughter whenever you need it, regardless of the world around you.
Our class will combine laughter exercises, deep breathing, and meditation, giving you the ability to release tension in your body and your mind.
You get to laugh, release, relax, and rejuvenate!
Bring a friend and share the joy of laughter!
Everyone can participate, as the class can be modified for all ages and abilities.
