Step into the heart of our rural community for a Scottish festival with a Kiwi twist. From caber tossing and the iconic Hororata Stones to bagpipes, Highland dancing and traditional food, this is a day packed with culture, competition and country fun.
With over 100 Highland dancers, sheep shearing, medieval knights, live music, carnival rides and 120+ market stalls, there’s something for all ages – and plenty of chances to have a go.
A truly unique day out celebrating strength, culture and community, just under an hour from Christchurch.
Proudly run by the Hororata Community Trust. All profits are reinvested back into the community.
