About this Event

Honey Larochelle

Roberta Flack protégé and soul powerhouse Honey Larochelle about to release her second solo Album. Her global music journey began as a background vocalist for N’Dea Davenport of The Brand New Heavies, eventually stepping into the spotlight as their lead singer when Davenport stepped away. Since then, she has toured the globe, recording and performing with many jazz and soul legends—most recently as a featured vocalist and touring collaborator with South Africa’s own Jonathan Butler.

As the protégé of Roberta Flack, Honey carries forward a legacy of thoughtful, emotionally intelligent music. Her recent duet “Research” with UK soul legend Omar premiered as the lead single for his 2025 album Brighter the Days, further solidifying her reputation as a true iconoclast in the soul, jazz, and funk scenes.

Asa Martinson & the Outlet

PPL sponsored London based 7-piece band jazz fusion (Rnb/Afrobeats). Led by Asa Martinson the group is inspired by legends like James Brown, Tony Allen, George Duke, andhis mentor Julian Joseph. Their journey has taken them to some of the UK’s most iconic stages— this summer selling out Pizza Express Live (Dean Street), 91 Living Room and STEREO Covent Garden. As well as playing Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Club, and the Barbican—where they’ve refined their genre- defying craft.

Asa’s experience with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where he trains gifted school pupils, reinforced his belief in the power of cross-genre music. At this early point in his career Asa is already using his experience in the music industry to support his community.

With a mix of vocal and instrumental tunes, aswell high energy and interactive sets. Prepare for a night of unreleased gems, classic hits, and music to move your body and touch your soul!

Martha AB

London-based singer, songwriter, and keyboardist whose music blends jazz, soul, R&B, and folk into a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. As a member of Asa Martinson & the Outlet, she has performed across London at venues including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Ninety One Living Room, and Soul Mama.

Alongside her collaborative work, Martha is a solo artist, drawing inspiration from artists such as Yebba, Lianne La Havas, and Robert Glasper. Her sound is soulful and delicate- combining rich harmony, reflective songwriting, and organic instrumentation, Martha creates music that feels emotionally raw, warm, and quietly captivating.

Amelia Wilding

South East London-based bassist, composer and bandleader

working across jazz fusion and contemporary music. Combining her writing with string arrangements and rhythmically complex structures, often exploring unusual time signatures while maintaining a strong melodic feature.

Her musical development has been shaped through both formal training and practical experience, studying under Trinity Laban Lecturers, including Yolanda Charles, while also building her skill set in live environments that demanded adaptability, fast learning and consistency. This has led to a versatile approach, allowing her to work across genres and contexts, from composition for dancers and film to collaborations with artists.

Rather than conforming to existing spaces, she has focused on building her own space. Her band reflects this: an ensemble built around collaboration, individuality and high-level musicianship, creating performances that are both intentional and accessible. Amelia is known for clear communication, efficient rehearsal processes and a strong organisational approach, bringing together musicians from varied backgrounds to deliver cohesive, high-quality performances.

Her work continues to centre on creating a shared experience with audiences, using music as a way to engage, reflect & connect.
