Join us in welcoming artist Camille Turner back home for a deep dive into her exhibit Hometown Queen. During the talk, led by senior curator Melissa Bennett and educator-in-residence stylo starr, Camille will reflect on her 30-year retrospective and share stories about the works, ideas, collaborations, and journeys that have shaped her practice.
Hear insights on how an intentional investigation in to self, place and Black history gave way to an ongoing discovery and reckoning with painful histories and obscured archives.
