The laughter is coming to Owego when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at the Jon Barleycorn on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Brin Netzel is headlining the show and Mandalyn Corse and Kevin Kelly are joining host Mike Peters.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and there's a recommended $5 donation at the door, which opens at 7. Come out and enjoy the show.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Kevin Kelly is a Rochester-based comedian, Army veteran and producer of the comedy show Barracks Humor. Rochester’s Funniest Person in 2026, he won the Comedy Hall of Fame $100 Laugh Off and the Clash of the Comics at the Syracuse Funny Bone and hosts the comedy group Sorry 4 Da Weight.
Mandalyn Corse is a Binghamton comedian. She grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and is bringing big laughs to the upstate New York comedy scene. At least she’s getting something out of the fledgling dating pool in Binghamton.
Brian Enck got his start in the Rochester scene before moving to New York City. He moved back to Syracuse in 2021 and now works at the Syracuse Funny Bone. A regular at Caroline’s, LOL Comedy and other clubs before moving out of Brooklyn, Enck was featured in the New York Comedy Festival.
