𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘! This is a unique Prom experience dedicated to kids, teens and young adults facing critical illnesses, many of whom may never have the opportunity, or have missed the chance to attend their own school Prom.This Prom is not just an event; it’s a night where attendees can leave their daily battles behind and experience the joy of dressing up, dancing, and feeling celebrated. The evening has been designed with two sessions to welcome guests of all ages.
What the Prom Will Entail:
𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀
𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺: Tailored for younger children (2-12 yo), this session will feature a DJ, dance floor, mocktails, and visits from superheroes, princesses, and local heroes. Volunteers will provide hair and makeup services, and with donated attire, each child will feel like a Prom King or Queen. Light bites and snacks will also be available to make the night special.
𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺: A sophisticated celebration for teens and young adults (13-21 yo). The event will take place in a beautifully decorated venue, with a chapel area for photos, allowing families to capture lasting memories of this milestone.
𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: Crowns for Every Child: In the early session, each child will be crowned a Prom King or Queen.
𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: For families facing financial hardship, we will work with nonprofits who provide attire and accessories so that every child can feel beautiful and celebrated without worry. If you have attire you'd like to donate, please email [email protected].
𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘂𝗽 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀: stylists will be on hand for both sessions, helping each guest feel their best and ensuring a complete, magical experience.
𝗗𝗝, 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Live music, dancing, and entertainment will set the tone for a joyous celebration, allowing the attendees to feel free, happy, and celebrated.
