About this Event
All Aboard the 2026 Holiday Trolley Tour! This December, the “Home for the Holidays” celebration brings back one of Delaware’s favorite traditions — the Trolley Tour! Inspired by the streetcars that once ran through Delaware in the early 20th century, this year’s tour will be our most authentic and enjoyable yet.
We’re partnering with Fun Bus Adventures to bring a trolley style bus with great views, comfortable seating, and a full PA system, so every rider can enjoy the stories and history along the way.
The tour begins at the Barn at Stratford, where guests can enjoy:
· A short, engaging program on Delaware’s streetcar and Interurban history
· Holiday snacks and punch
· Local vendors
· Live music
· Storytelling and more
From there, riders will follow the original Columbus, Delaware & Marion Interurban route into the city, hearing tales of early 1900s life and exploring the neighborhoods that once grew along the tracks. It’s a fun, festive, and educational way to celebrate the season.
Note: The Barn will open at 11AM so you can see the display material before taking your tour.
