Holiday Hi-Jinxxx: Another Evening at Dave's Sauna is one part musical, one part theater, and one part Burlesque show, that features many of the characters from the original "An Evening at Dave's Sauna" musical comedy. In this new production, Dave misplaces a significant amount of money and has to save Xmas by holding a Burlesque show at the Sauna on Xmas Eve. Featuring many of the characters from the original "An Evening at Dave's Sauna" musical, including Dave, Nancy, Weird Rob, Saul, Neighbor Not Happy, MassHole, Frank, Gary, Off Duty Waitress, and the sexy Sauna Sirens, along with some surprise new characters from the true life and legendary/hedonistic venue in South Paris, Maine back in its heyday.The show was written by Maine writer, Jonathan Leavitt and features original songs and lyrics from Maine singer-songwriter, Johnny Crashed. The show also incorporates many legendary holiday songs from many of the original holiday tv/movie classics. All performed live by members of Ragtime Rebellion (Dirty Dawz, Horn E.D., and Wavy Davy). Choreography by Nettie Gentempo.

Imagine my surprise when I saw that someone had made a musical about Dave’s! A show about a spot in Oxford County – a part of Maine which doesn’t get much limelight – where I had been. About people I’d known! Holy Shit (I exclaimed when I saw the poster)! This kind of thing…..it just doesn’t happen. There was NO WAY I was going to miss that and I wasn’t disappointed. – Siri Cressey
