WHY THIS ROOM, WHY NOW
You spend your working life holding space for other people. You listen carefully, you stay present; and you may find yourself holding things after a session that are not yours to hold and most of the time, you do it without anyone holding space for you.
That is not a criticism. It is just what the job looks like when there is no regular supervision in place. The sessions that linger. The boundaries that have quietly shifted without you quite noticing. The questions that surface - did I do enough? , was that the right question ? - that you answer alone, if you answer it at all.
The research is clear on this: practitioners who receive regular, quality supervision are more effective, more resilient, and less likely to burn out. Not because supervision fixes problems - but because it gives you somewhere to look at your work honestly, with someone who understands what that work actually demands of you.
This half-day is that space. A small, intimate group. Active, worthwhile reflection that makes you a better practitioner, not in theory, but in the room with your next client.
Most practitioners know they need supervision. Very few make the time for it. This is the time!
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
This is not a workshop where you sit and listen. It is a supervised group session where real reflection happens; the kind that shifts something, not just informs it.
The day opens with breathwork and includes clinical hypnotherapy, not because these are part of supervision, but because they help everything that follows land effectively. A settled nervous system and a clear internal space make honest reflection possible in a way that talking alone rarely does.
Whether you are newly qualified and still finding your footing, or experienced and aware that something in your practice needs attention; this day works for both, because the questions underneath are the same.
WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO
- Breathwork to settle the nervous system, because honest reflection requires a body that is actually present, not running on adrenaline
- Structured group reflection on what you are carrying, the sessions that stayed, the boundaries that shifted, the self-doubt you have not yet named
- Clinical hypnotherapy for professional reset , helping things land at the level where real change happens, not just the surface
- Supervision-led enquiry - looking at your practice from the outside in, with someone who knows how to ask the right question
- A reflection sheet and take-home prompts so the work continues after you leave the room
- Lunch and time to connect with fellow practitioners in an unhurried, informal setting
YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
- A real shift in how you are holding your practice, felt, not just thought
- Clarity about something specific you have been carrying and what to do differently
- A genuine, embodied understanding of what ongoing supervision gives you
- Something concrete to take into your very next session
- The satisfaction of having actually done something worthwhile for your practice, not just attended something
THIS IS FOR YOU IF
- You are a coach or therapist who is good at your work and honest enough to know that you would be even better with proper support
- You have been thinking about supervision for a while and want to experience it before committing to anything ongoing
- You are newly qualified and finding that training prepared you for the session but not always for what the session leaves behind
- You are experienced and aware that something has quietly shifted , your energy, your boundaries, your self-trust and you have not had the right space to look at it
- You simply want a half-day that is genuinely worth the time and the investment
ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR
Phyllis Woodfine - ICF PCC · MSc · EMCC Coach Supervisor ·ICF Mentor · Coach · Osteopath
Phyllis brings over 30 years of clinical and coaching practice to every room she works in - as an osteopath, executive coach, coach supervisor, speaker and lecturer. She works with coaches, therapists, leaders, and organisations individually and in groups, and has a particular gift for asking the question that gets to the thing you have been circling around. This event is a direct extension of that work, brought into a room, for a half-day, with people who deserve the same quality of attention they give their clients.
Places are limited to keep the group intimate and the supervision quality high. If you are on the fence, that is probably reason enough to book.
