HIV Edmonton is excited to invite you to our free Dynamics Workshop on October 8th and 9th, from 9 am to 12 pm each day. Service providers and community members who want to build their capacity to understand how HIV and other sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBI) affect the lives of the individuals, families, and communities they work with, serve, or belong to are encouraged to attend.
Health equity is a guiding concept in our work at HIV Edmonton. We strive to work together to build health and social service systems that are free of stigma and discrimination. This includes HIV stigma, but also discrimination due to racism, homophobia, substance use, sex work, poverty, and other social factors.
This two-half-day workshop will include opportunities for discussion, voices from people with lived experience, prevention strategies, and a spotlight on practical support strategies.
