CEMETERY WALK (English tour)
We invite you to join the iconic event of the Russian Culture Festival - the Historic Cemetery Walk.
It will take you to the Hong Kong Cemetery (Happy Valley) where around 150 Russian Orthodox graves and monuments are located
We believe a historic walk through the cemetery connects us with the Russian émigrés who made Hong Kong their home. As we walk among the graves, we’ll learn about their journeys, lives, and personal stories, and reflect on the community’s place in Hong Kong’s history.
The Walk is led by Kira Pozdnyaeva
An independent historian, journalist, researcher and writer.
