Attendees will learn what it means for a property to be historically designated, when a Certificate of Alteration may be required, the difference between Historic Landmark Commission and administrative approval, and important considerations involving short-term rentals and zoning. Katie will also provide an overview of what the City’s Neighborhood and Community Planning team reviews and how they can help answer questions before a project, purchase, renovation, or property use change.
