HIPHOPSONIC 2027Sometimes you build something new.
Sometimes you reflect on what has been in the making for years.
On January 16th, we celebrate our 10th year at Café de Zolder and 15 years of Hiphop050.
And we’re doing it in style...
Fifteen years of artists, stages, sessions, connections, and people
who have contributed to the hip-hop culture in Groningen.
Not because it was always in the spotlight,
but because the love for the culture was always there.
HiphopSonic brings together different generations, styles, and backgrounds.
Local and international MCs. DJs and vinyl.
Familiar faces and new encounters.
Featuring, among others, Das de Rijmmaniak & Casto ft. Jason, Veteran Eye (USA), Zombi Squad, Bring the Joints (live band), Mr Personal, Dasha, Double Trouble, GroenWit, Mr. Rozzi (USA), Plastic Psyche and Kenny (SPAIN)...
...and none other than Dicky Deadly will host the evening, keeping the energy sharp and the celebration alive.
And with Bring the Joints (live band) providing the backing, we’ll open up the mic at the end of the night.
No distance between the program and the community. Just space to step up and join in.
This isn't a celebration of who thrives the loudest.
It’s a celebration of the Culture.
From the people who build the stages to the people who step onto them.
