Join us for a bluegrass jam at the Hillside Club November 16th in Berkeley! For November, the jam theme will be “Cabins, Shacks and Mansions”. We encourage you to call songs with the jam theme (interpret the theme as you like - huts, condos, ADU’s anyone?). And of course all other bluegrass tunes are welcome as well. When: Monday, November 16, 7:00-10pm
Where: The Hillside Club - 2286 Cedar St., Berkeley, CA, 94709
The jam is free, and there are three rooms for jamming. If there’s interest, the slow jam will be in the green room (by the stage). BYOB (beer and wine allowed, please no hard alcohol or spirits). We hope to make this an approximately-monthly event.
A word about song selection: We encourage folks to choose songs from the bluegrass canon. If you decide not to, it’s best to choose a song that has no more than 4 chords (to avoid jam busters), and be prepared to take a moment to briefly teach the song if necessary.
