Hill Family Biking: Ride -> Ride for Your Life

This year, Hill Family Biking is proud to be official partner of the Ride for Your Life DC, a ride honoring lives changed by traffic violence and inspiring action to create safe streets for everyone. The event starts and ends at John Marshall Park, so we'll be meeting at Stanton Park at 1pm for a short 1.1 mile ride to join participants from across the region.

Hill Family Biking has been heavily involved in the route planning for the 6.2-mile ride which is the centerpiece of the event, so you rest assured that we endorse this event fully.

After the ride, there will be a rally in front of the Capitol and fun activities for everyone back at John Marshall Park. If you plan on joining, please, please, please register on the Ride for Your Life DC website and consider a donation to this worthy event.

We’ll have volunteers marshaling to ensure we stay together as a group. MPD bike team will also be participating in the ride to connect officers with the community.

By agreeing to participate in this event, you agree that you are granting Hill Family Biking the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs and/or videos taken of you and/or your children at the event for which you are registering, in which you may be included, for use on Hill Family Biking social media, promotional materials, and website. You also agree to release Hill Family Biking and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs/videos.

You also recognize and agree that Hill Family Biking has not undertaken any duty or responsibility for your or your children’s safety, and you agree to assume the full responsibility for all risk of bodily injury and/or property damage as a result of participating in the ride. By participating in the ride, you agree to hold Hill Family Biking, its board members, and its volunteers harmless and will not seek reimbursement from them for any injury sustained or liability otherwise incurred during a ride.
