(NL) In 2026 viert Hildur Guðnadóttir twintig jaar artistieke creatie met een nieuwe orkestrale voorstelling. Twintig jaar na haar eerste soloalbum Mount A (2006) brengt ze een selectie van haar meest geliefde werk, aangevuld met nieuwe composities en een live lichtontwerp van Theresa Baumgartner.
De IJslandse componiste, celliste en zangeres beweegt zich op het kruispunt van experimentele pop en hedendaagse muziek. In haar werk verkent ze een breed klankpalet, van intieme eenvoud tot gelaagde soundscapes. Ze verwierf internationale erkenning met haar bekroonde filmmuziek en de muziek voor de serie Chernobyl.
Voor haar debuut in DE SINGEL staat ze samen met BRYGGEN op het podium. Op het programma staan onder meer haar soundtracks voor Tár en Joker, nieuwe arrangementen uit haar albums en nieuw werk.
(EN) In 2026, Hildur Guðnadóttir celebrates 20 years of artistic creation with a new orchestral performance. Twenty years after her first solo album Mount A (2006), she presents a selection of her best-loved works, complemented by new compositions and live lighting design by Theresa Baumgartner.
The Icelandic composer, cellist, and singer sits at the crossroads of experimental pop and contemporary music. Her work explores a wide sonic palette, from intimate simplicity to layered soundscapes. She has gained international acclaim with her award-winning film scores and the music for the series Chernobyl.
For her debut at DE SINGEL, she shares the stage with BRYGGEN. The programme includes her soundtracks for Tárand Joker, new arrangements from her albums, and new work.
