🍂 STEPPING INTO FALL 🍂

THE ART OF RETURNING

FOREST BATHING WALK

Saturday, October 10, 2026

10:00 AM

High Park

Meet in front of the High Park Nature Centre 375 Colborn Lodge Dr

As autumn settles into the forest, the landscape begins its return.

Leaves release from their branches. Plants draw their energy inward. What has grown throughout the spring and summer begins to soften, break down and return to the earth.

Join us for a slow, gentle exploration of 🌲Returning 🌲, a chance to notice the quiet transformation happening all around us and reflect on how endings can become part of renewal.

Nothing in nature is wasted. What falls becomes nourishment for what comes next.

🌿WHAT IS FOREST BATHING?

Forest bathing is not a hike, exercise class or nature lesson. It is a guided experience inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku.

Through simple invitations, we will slow down, engage our senses, notice the living world around us and create space to simply be.

No experience is necessary. Come as you are and participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

☀️WEATHER

If the weather is comfortable, we will take a short walk together to our sit spot.

In light rain or less favourable weather, we will gather under an enclosed shelter so we can still experience the changing season together.

🎒WHAT TO BRING

• Comfortable clothing and layers

• Asit-upon, small mat or something comfortable to sit on

• Water

Please arrive a little early. We will begin promptly at 10:00 AM.

Come as you are.Slow down.Notice what is changing.

🍂 See you in the park. 🌿
