Aotearoa audio alchemists -HIGH ALTAR- are the duo of Brendan Moran (Hasselhoff Experiment, Subliminals, Vor-stellan) and Taipua Adams (Terror of the Deep, The Perms), for a 5 date spring tour. Masters of deep zone delving, 'semi-improvised' bass guitar / drums / electronics locked-in heavy psych-noise interplay. The mega-talented pair have of course lined up formidable special guests for this event.

- MEDaL - are a Lyttelton-based New Zealand rock trio featuring a high-pedigree lineup of underground music veterans. The band brings together Dave Mulcahy (guitar/vocals), formerly of Superette and The Jean-Paul Sartre Experience; John Billows (bass), formerly of The Renderers and Dark Matter; and Mark Whyte (drums), formerly of Into the Void. Drawing on decades of experience in New Zealand’s alternative music scene, MEDaL deliver a raw, uncompromising sound. This three-piece makes a hell of a racket.

- Lucky_Surprise - AkA Rory Dalley is an Ōtautahi Christchurch-based artist working across improvised music, experimental sound and sonic art. His practice explores the textural possibilities of noise, the subtleties of quietness, and the unpredictable relationships between sound, space and chance.
Working with cassette manipulations, deconstructed turntables, unconventional percussion, found objects and repurposed audio equipment, Dalley creates open-ended sonic environments where everyday materials become instruments and incidental sounds are given room to emerge. His performances move between delicate sonic detail and unruly textures, embracing improvisation as a way of listening, responding and discovering.
Performing solo as IRD and collaborating across music, dance and performance, Dalley has been an active contributor to Aotearoa New Zealand’s experimental music and sonic arts communities. His work invites attentive listening, blurring the boundaries between music, noise, silence and the sounds of the surrounding environment.
