Held. Shaped. Purposefully Created. You have been formed for a purpose. Held by the Most High God, we are an earthen vessels made to carry His goodness and shine His light in a world that can sometimes feel dark.
But what happens when the shape doesn't turn out the way you imagined?
When the edges are uneven, the vessel feels fragile, or life leaves its mark?
In this Selah Session, we'll slow down and work with air-dry clay as we explore the beautiful, sometimes uncomfortable work of the Potter's hands. Through Scripture, reflection and creativity, you'll have space to consider what it means to be formed, held and reshaped by God... even in the places that feel unfinished.
We'll journey through the imagery of the Potter and the clay in Isaiah 29:16, Isaiah 41:25, Jeremiah 18 and Isaiah 30:14, allowing these words to meet us in our own stories.
You don't need to be artistic.
You don't need to make something perfect.
Just come as you are. Come with your unfinished edges, your questions, your hopes and make space to remember that you are still in the hands of the One who formed you.
An invitation to create, reflect and encounter God... one handful of clay at a time.
