Get ready for one of the highlights of the Christchurch Big Band Festival!Join us for our spectacular Jazz Parade, leaving downstairs from Fat Eddie’s at 1.30pm and making its way through the city to Cathedral Square. Then the parade takes a different turn as we join the Nelken Line for some Westend Blues.
Bring the whole family and join the parade. Young tamariki might like to bring a percussion instrument, while horn players are encouraged to bring their instruments and join the band.
You can download the music in advance and play along, or simply play by ear and join in the fun. We’ll join the Nelken Line from Tūranga at 2pm in Cathedral Square so bring your dancing shoes!
Meet just before 1.30pm downstairs at Fat Eddie’s.
