Always On: Rethinking Social Media for Artists
Office Hours is a free HFG community session created to help artists and industry connect, share knowledge and support one another.
On arrival, artists and guests will contribute to the Office Hours Wall, sharing their questions about social media and where they need support. Whether that’s what to post, how often, making sense of the algorithms, building an audience, paid ads, working with creators, or simply figuring out if it’s worth the effort at all.
This month’s topic is the one every artist has an opinion on and almost nobody feels they’ve cracked: “Always On: Does social media still mean anything for artists, and where should you actually invest your time and money?”
From there, HFG’s invited industry guests will respond to the questions, using them as a roadmap for the discussion. Expect strategy, honest takes on the algorithms, what’s worth investing in, and the practical tactics, tips and tricks working right now.
The event wraps with open networking, encouraging everyone in the room to actively connect, not just to seek help but to offer it. Artists and industry alike are encouraged to listen, share insight and support one another.
