About this Event
Join us for free printmaking sessions exploring different print techniques led by Sheelagh Dornan, Jenny Hood & Jono Comerford.
We'll be delivering a series of print activity workshops with the theme title Anarchy in Aberdeen. We will explore Peacocks history of radical printmaking, breaking out of the tight and rigid confines of the printmaking studio and opting for more accessible forms of printing including screen printing, exploring words and punk letterpress prints, street printing and Lego printing.
Please note, these are funded sessions so if you book but cannot attend please cancel your tickets so someone else can benefit.
What to expect:
The printmaking workshops are suitable for children ages 8 and up. All children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Workshops will last for 1 1/2 hours and participants will have the opportunity to make multiple prints during that time. Prints can be collected once dry (this may take a few hours).
All materials will be provided and aprons / gloves but please bring clothes you don't mind getting ink on.
