Help Alleviate Hunger in Harlem

Join The Salvation Army in Greater New York to help alleviate hunger every weekday from 10am - 1pm in the Harlem community.

At our Harlem Temple location, volunteers play a direct role in supporting our neighbors facing food insecurity. This opportunity offers hands-on engagement that makes an immediate and tangible impact.

Volunteer activities may include:

• Assisting with food pantry organization and shelf stocking
• Supporting food distribution to community members
• Preparing and packaging meals
• Helping create a welcoming and dignified experience for those we serve

Through these efforts, your team helps ensure that New Yorkers in need have access to nutritious food and essential support.
