About this Event
Adorama in partnership with Sony brings together photography students and educators from across the city for an evening of photography, collaboration, and community. This hands-on in-store takeover is an opportunity to meet other students and educators who share a passion for photography, exchange ideas, make new creative connections, and build relationships beyond the classroom.
Throughout the experience, students will work alongside working photographers, educators, and store experts through guided demonstrations and hands-on shooting stations. Experiment with cameras (the newly released Sony FX5 will be on hand), lenses, lighting, and accessories while collaborating with new people and getting real-time feedback on your work.
Whether you're looking to expand your photography skills, discover new gear, meet other students, or connect with the city's photography community, this is a chance to get out of the classroom, get behind the camera, and find your people.
This event is exclusively for photography students and educators. A valid student and/ or educator ID will be required to participate.
Sony will have a limited supply of cameras and lenses to loan out. If you would like to borrow gear to shoot the sets please have your student or educator id and valid credit card ready. They will be held safely until the gear is returned.
Limited amount of SD cards for the first 10-12 students. Pleaes bring your own SD card to assure you get your shots.
Lite bites and bevarges will be served.
Please Note: This is a don't-miss in-person event only.
