Are you interested in a life-changing evening of merrymaking this All Hallow’s Eve season? Whether you have the voice of smooth jazz on Whiskey Row or your pipes make small children cry, please consider joining us in the timeless old city of Boston, MA for good company and what the hep cats call “kah-rah-OH-keh.”
For only $15, this event includes a casual 2 hour get-together before and 3 hours in a private room filled with unprofessional trills at an establishment known as Viva Karaoke. This futuristic venue features bright neon lights someone as tacky as Vox would feel right at home under.

RUNDOWN
What: Two-Part Halloween Cosplay Event
Age Restriction: Karaoke is 21+ ONLY
Attendee Count: Max 12 (not including host & 2 co-hosts)
- NOTE: The free pre-karaoke portion is unlimited guests!
Location: Boston Common and Viva Karaoke (204 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02116)
- NOTE: I will update this page day of with the exact Boston Common meeting spot and send an email. Please check back!
Total Event Time: 5 hours (1:30PM–3:30PM & 4PM–7PM)
- 1:30PM–3:30PM: Boston Common hangout. This part is free to attend, so anyone 18+ is welcome!
- 3:30PM–4:00PM: Karaoke attendees assemble and head to Viva! Everyone else may stay and still hang out, of course.
- 4:00PM–7:00PM: 3 hours inside a private, rented Viva Karaoke room. Paid 21+ attendees only.
Event Cost: $15 per person (non-refundable, but transferable; see rule #9)
Now for... THE RULES
Apologies they are so long, but I wanted to be thorough.
- Karaoke is 21+ ONLY. No exceptions, even if you don’t drink (I don’t). Also, while I cannot ban anyone from going to the Common as it is a public space, I would appreciate anyone under 18 not attending any portion of the event. Thank you for your understanding.
- Feel free to bring food/snacks to the pre-karaoke gathering to share, just be aware of rule #3.
- Outside food/drinks are not allowed per the venue rules, so please finish any before we enter Viva. They offer quick bites and drinks (both alcoholic and non) at their bar for purchase. You will need to use your own money at the bar to pay. There will be free water and sodas provided.
- No smoking or vaping inside per venue policies.
- Cosplay is not required, though Hellaverse cosplay (Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss) is highly encouraged! As is the “play” part. Karaoke is all about putting on a performance, no matter your singing abilities. Let’s have fun!
- You can sing whatever you want... within reason. Try to pick songs under 5 minutes, but they do not need to be Hellaverse specific. Viva uses Singa for their karaoke platform.
- Singing is not required. If you really don’t want to sing but just wanna vibe or sing along in the background, that’s also fine.
- Be polite and don’t hog the queue! It will be monitored to keep things fair. Only put in another song after you’ve had your turn.
- Payments are non-refundable due to making a reservation at the space, but you are welcome to find another person to take your spot if you can no longer attend. Please give me a head’s up so I can update your reservation and check the new person in the day of.
- Should go without saying, but... Cosplay is NOT consent. Do NOT be a creep. And lastly, be kind to one another.
