Travel inside the workshops of northern Czechia, where glass beads and buttons are still being made using techniques passed down through generations.Minnesota jewelry artist Andrea Turini traveled to Jablonec nad Nisou, a region long recognized as a world center of bead and button production, to document this remarkable industry firsthand.
🔥 FREE ARTIST TALK | 10 AM
In this cultural heritage presentation, Andrea traces the evolution of the Czech glass industry, from family cottage workshops to state-run factories under communism and the return to private industry.
