CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Celebrate the autumn equinox by creating a beautiful, nature-inspired wreath that reflects the balance of the season. Inspired by folk traditions that honor the transition from summer to autumn and the second harvest, this workshop explores the harmony between light and dark through color, texture, and natural materials.
Guests will design a striking two-toned wreath, combining warm botanicals like dried wheat, marigolds, and amber strawflowers on one side with cool elements such as sage, eucalyptus, and plum-toned florals on the other. Finish your piece with thoughtfully paired gemstones—such as citrine, tiger's eye, smoky quartz, or amethyst—and a ribbon or twine accent at the center, symbolizing the changing of the seasons.
This beginner-friendly workshop includes step-by-step instruction, with all materials provided. You'll leave with a one-of-a-kind wreath that celebrates the beauty, balance, and abundance of the autumn equinox. No experience necessary.
Guests can either make one 8" wreath, or two smaller wreaths, one 6" wreath and one 4" wreath.
