Heart & Stroll is back for 2026, and this year it’s all about bringing everyone together — families, friends, kids and dogs 🐾
Join us for a relaxed, feel-good 5km walk around Southampton Common, raising vital funds for Heartbeat, supporting people living with heart conditions across our region.
After an incredible event last year, GBHQ is Teaming up with Heartbeat to turn Heart & Stroll into a full community festival, with more fun, more movement, and more to enjoy for all ages.
What’s happening on the day:
🚶♀️ 5km Heart & Stroll Walk – pram-friendly, child-friendly, dog-friendly, gentle stroll - surprises along the way to keep you entertained.
👨👩👧👦 Families welcome – kids go FREE
🐶 Dogs welcome – on leads, of course, and they go FREE
🎯 Games & fitness challenges – designed for all abilities
🎶 Live bands & entertainment – relaxed festival atmosphere
🍔 Food, drinks & community vibes – make a day of it
This isn’t a race.
It’s about getting outside, moving together, and showing up for a cause that matters, whether that’s walking with your kids, bringing the dog, or just enjoying a positive day with good people.
Costs:
Adult Walker = £12.50 includes 5km Walk, access to the event, FREE Heart & Stroll T Shirt included.
Child (Over 5 years) = £5 includes 5km Walk, access to the event, FREE Heart & Stroll Drawstring Bag included.
Child (Under 5 years) = FREE
General Admission on the Day is £5 per person (not including walk) with under 5 years going free.
Children and dogs do need to be signed up with an accompanying adult over the age of 18 years.

Every sign up and donation made, will be going to the renovation of the Heart Failure Unit, a life-changing project at the core of what Heartbeat stands for.
