Healthy Start Connected Families, Therapist-Lead Couples Workshop
Join us at the Southeastern Live Well Center on May 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM (Pacific Time) for a relaxed and insightful couples workshop led by a professional therapist. It’s a great chance to connect, learn, and strengthen your relationship in a friendly, supportive setting. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to kickstart a healthier, happier connection with your partner!
The journey into parenthood is beautiful—but it can also be one of life’s most challenging transitions. The perinatal period, spanning pregnancy through your baby’s first year, brings profound physical, emotional, and relational changes. Research shows that couples often experience increased stress during this time—and for new parents in the Black community, these challenges can be intensified by unique cultural, social, and economic factors.
Well-Mamas Counseling has partnered with Global Communities to present a 2-part workshop series designed to support you and your partner as you navigate this transformative stage together. Using evidence-based practices, each session will help you strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, and build a resilient, supportive partnership that thrives through the perinatal period and beyond.
With a hybrid format, a blend of virtual and in-person meetings, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of online access alongside the meaningful connections that come from face-to-face group support.
Join us to learn, grow, and connect as you begin this powerful new chapter—together.
