About this Event
On Thursday, October 1st, artists, poets, musicians, and community members will come together at Dupont Underground for a special evening of art, music, poetry, healing, and solidarity in support of communities impacted by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia.
Organized by Vocales Verticales and Tintas DC, the fundraiser will be a community centered variety show featuring performances by local artists, including poetry, live music, and other artistic performances. The evening is intended to create a space where our communities can gather not only to raise urgently needed funds, but also to honor those affected, uplift the cultures of Venezuela and Colombia, and demonstrate the power of art and comunidad in moments of crisis.
All proceeds from the evening will support relief efforts benefiting communities impacted by the earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia.
