Join Darkness RISING Project and Elliott Ashby for an evening of professional photography, good drinks, and good company, all in support of Darkness RISING's mental health and reentry programs for communities in need.
What's included:
- Professional headshot session w/Elliott Ashby (up to 10 minutes, 1 look)
- A cash bar: grab a drink from Drink Your Fantasy and relax before or after you get your headshot
- A room full of people showing up for a good cause
Every ticket helps fund therapy sessions, reentry support, and wellness programming for the people we serve. Come get a professional headshot and help us continue providing FREE therapy while you're at it.

ABOUT ELLIOTT:
Elliott Ashby is a New York based photographer and video producer. He was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona where he attended Arizona State University concentrating on media production and mass communications. After graduating Elliott moved to Seoul, South Korea to work as an educator, and eventually as radio host of South Korea’s largest urban program and largest radio station. Upon his return to the States, he decided to focus on photography, and video production working with companies like Moguldom Films, Hot 97, and Everyday People. HOSTED BY: Darkness RISING, an arts and mental health 501(c)3 nonprofit. We provide free community wellness workshops, REBUILD, Find Me a Therapist, a Black Mental Health Resource Packet, a Black Mental Health Provider Database, inspirational cover songs, visual albums, and live concerts created by Black Broadway and theatre professionals, many who have experienced a mental health condition. Darkness RISING reimagines and provides safe and equitable mental health resources, addresses issues which directly affect the Black community and other marginalized communities, connect community members to resources, and erase the stigma. Our resources, events and services empower the Black community, communities of color, the formerly incarcerated community, LGBTQIA individuals, those with lived mental health challenges, and those at the intersection of these communities.
