New! 500m Novice Time Trials: 7:30am
Brand new this year, and designed for rowers who are new to racing. Two timed runs each – your best time counts; no side-by-side racing, no start-line nerves; ANARC provides the boats. Every crew rows one of our gig 4x+s, so it’s identical equipment for everyone and nothing for your club to transport. Coxes may also be available – if you need one please ask. Fastest three crews go through to a final.
Novice places are capped. We want as many clubs and schools as possible to get a run, so places will be shared evenly across everyone who enters rather than first-in-best-dressed. Enter the number of crews you’d like, and we’ll confirm your allocation after entries close. If you’ve got rowers who want to race but not ready for 8.6km, this is their event.
