Guhyasamāja, “The Assembly of Secrets,” is regarded as one of the most profound and important tantric systems of the Gelug tradition. The practice provides a complete path of transformation, integrating profound methods for working with mind, subtle energies, and the stages of the path to enlightenment.
This rare initiation offers participants the opportunity to enter the Guhyasamāja tantric mandala and receive the blessings, commitments, and instructions associated with the practice.
Attending the initiation is best suited for those who have a good understanding of the Lam Rim and the Three Principal Aspects of the Path.
Those who take the initiation and accept the commitments must join on all three days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Onsite attendance is required. A Zoom link will be provided on Friday from 1-3 pm, which is a public talk. Once the initiation starts, Zoom will end.
Please arrive no later than 12.30 on all days.
The initiation comes with the normal commitments of refuge, bodhisattva vows and tantric vows, as well as the twice-daily Six Session Guru Yoga sadhana commitment. Please note: These commitments may change, and Rinpoche may choose to give additional commitments when giving the initiations.
Accommodation and food: Not included. There will be tea and cake in the afternoon.
