The Haverfordwest Lantern parade returns October 30th! Join us for a spectacular celebration of the old Celtic and Welsh traditions of Noson Galan Gaef. Community-made lanterns will drift through the streets at the feet of our giant Ancient Guardian lanterns, guided by the rhythms of Samba Doc and Reel Rebels. The parade will conclude with a fitting fire-display from the incredible Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners.

In light of the devastation being caused across the country by the wildfires this summer, we want to reassure everyone that the Haverfordwest Lantern Parade is scheduled to take place this autumn, at the end of October, when the risks will have significantly decreased. The lanterns are handheld and lit by reusable LED lights. The final fire performance has been rigorously risk-assessed and will take place on hard standing away from any grass or vegetation. We will continually review the wildfire risk and look forward to welcoming everyone safely to enjoy this much-loved event in Haverfordwest in October.

Bydd llusernau a grëwyd gan aelodau’r gymuned yn araf lifo ar hyd y strydoedd wrth draed ein llusernau Gwarchodwyr Hynafol anferth, gan gael eu harwain gan rythmau Samba Doc ac Reel Rebels. Bydd yr orymdaith yn dod i ben yn addas iawn gyda sioe dân gan yr anhygoel Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners.

Byddwn yn adolygu risg tanau gwyllt yn barhaus ac yn edrych ymlaen at groesawu pawb yn ddiogel i fwynhau'r digwyddiad poblogaidd a hoffus hwn yn Hwlffordd ym mis Hydref.
