About this Event
As the season turns and the year's work ripens, this is your moment to pause, gather, and take stock of what you've grown.
Join us for an evening designed for writers, artists, and creatives ready to reflect on their accomplishments this year so far, guided by certified coach Caitlin McDonald. In a warm, welcoming space, you'll be invited to reflect and take stock of the wins you might otherwise rush past: the projects finished, the risks taken, the small breakthroughs that mattered.
Through a guided "Gathering the Harvest" reflective writing exercise, you'll explore the achievements that meant something to you this year, big or small: what made them possible, what they reveal about your values, and how you might devise a personal harvest festival to celebrate them! You'll map your own story alongside the group's, building a community timeline of growth, resilience, and creative momentum.
This session is a special, free edition of our series of free peer-support wellbeing sessions for the creative community at Corvidaeum Creative, offered as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.
Doors open at 7:00pm for arrivals and informal mingling, with the main session running 7:30–9:00pm. Bring a notebook if you'd like or steal one from our magpie stash!
Whatever your year's harvest looks like, there's always more growth to celebrate than we tend to notice. Come mark the season's turn with fellow writers and creatives — and leave with a renewed sense of just how far you've come, and a little more warmth to carry into the months ahead.
