Late fall and the waxing crescent moon invite us into a season of fullness — holidays, meals, gatherings, and preparations for winter. We naturally begin to fill our tables, calendars, homes, and lives.
But plants in nature teach us something different.
Leaves change and fall. Seeds are preserved. Growth slows. Plants conserve what they need to survive the winter.
Not everything comes with us.
Nature prioritizes.
In Harvest + Discern, we’ll create an artistic fall centerpiece while contemplating how we choose what deserves our attention, energy, and space. Using a thoughtful selection of flowers and foliage, we’ll explore how repetition, placement, proportion, and negative space can create greater artistic impact.
Discernment isn’t about having less.
It’s about knowing what deserves more.
THIS FLORAL ART EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
☾ BEGINNER FRIENDLY GENTLE INSTRUCTION:
Whether you are a flower lover or flower professional, Heather’s floral art experiences are meaningful and enjoyable for all.
☾ VASE + MATERIALS:
Your registration fee includes all materials needed for class, including flowers, vases, tape, shears, etc.
☾ REFRESHMENTS:
Organic tea and light snacks provided.
☾ SACRED PAUSE FOR REFLECTION:
Before we arrange, we’ll take a quiet pause to consider the season of gathering we’re entering and what we’re choosing to carry forward.
Throughout the experience, you’ll be invited to reflect on:
– What deserves my attention?
– What is worth carrying forward?
– What might become more powerful if I stop adding?
☾ ARTIST PORTRAIT:
After completing your arrangement, you’ll have your artist portrait and centerpiece captured as a memento.
By registering to this Floral Class Experience you agree to the Waiver of Liability below.
ART CLASS WAIVER OF LIABILITY
By enrolling in this Floral Class Experience you agree with the following terms, releasing Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral” from liability.
Waiver: In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in the Midnight Alchemy Floral Class Experience I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral”, employees, volunteers and agents from liability from any and all claims resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, risks associated with the use of tools or other equipment, and participation in the Midnight Alchemy Floral Class Experience.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless: I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral”, employees, volunteers and agents HARMLESS from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in the Midnight Alchemy Floral Class Experience and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.
Severability: The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing waiver and assumption of risks agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of California that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
Photo Release: I authorize Heather Palenscar, DBA “Midnight Alchemy Floral” to use my photo in any manner for advertising, display, audio-visual, exhibition or editorial use. (If you prefer your face not shown in public marketing/advertising materials, please let Heather know at the beginning of class).
Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver of liability, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that by registering for this Art Class I am agreeing freely and voluntarily, to a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
