Calling all Spirits! The Hampton History Museum seeks actors to “reincarnate” historic figures from the past for their Hampton Horror Tours fundraisers. Open auditions are being held on Tuesday, September 22 & Wednesday, September 23 from 6:30-8 pm.Join playwright and director Marie St. Clair for this fun and educational experience--whether you have acting experience or not. There are lots of roles to fill for the Hampton Horror Tours, an interactive outing between the cast of "Spirits" and the audience.
There's nothing for you to prepare, come between 6:30-8 pm. Marie will have participants do a cold reading, and then she will lead interactive scare techniques acting training.
Tour dates are Saturday, October 24, Thursday, October 29, Friday, October 30, and on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, leaving the museum at 6:30 pm & 8 pm. These 60-minute tours include eerie tales of old Hampton and the Coastal Virginia area. Each tour highlights the grisly side of Hampton history, including a spooky stroll through St. John’s Church graveyard, and other points of fright along Queen Street and around Downtown Hampton.
These tours raise funds to support the Hampton History Museum’s educational programming and events.
