Join us on Saturday 17 October for a special double bill of classic Hammer horror: The Reptile and Plague of the Zombies.First released in 1966, The Reptile takes us to a remote Cornish village where a mysterious curse and a terrifying creature are at the heart of a series of disturbing events.
Then it's Plague of the Zombies, also from 1966, in which unexplained deaths lead to a much darker discovery lurking beneath the surface of a seemingly quiet Cornish village.
Two very different Hammer horrors, both with that unmistakable combination of gothic atmosphere, sinister settings and classic British horror.
The evening will be introduced by Ian Taylor, a lifelong film and horror enthusiast who has written extensively about British horror and contributed to publications including We Belong Dead, Halls of Horror, Dark Side and Scream. Ian returns to Fear at the Factory for the fourth year in a row, and we're very pleased to have him back.
Tickets are available from www.leighfilmfactory.com
Fear at the Factory continues throughout October at Leigh Film Factory.
