This is a one-of-a-kind event to Wellington Farm Rural Historical Museum.It takes place in the evening and is geared toward families with children. It is a fun, old fashioned style Halloween event. No gore!
First, you need to call and make your reservation as we only have so many seats available. 989-348-5187
You will be booking your seat on a hay wagon that will take you through different areas of the park in the dark. The wagon is pulled by one of our steam engines (Sometimes a tractor may be used if needed). It will take you to the forest that is illuminated by carved Jack-o-Lanterns.
Then you will travel to our Village area, where you will get off the wagon and walk a short distance to view all the decorated buildings, each building has a theme. Once you are through the village you will be taken to the pavilion for cider and donuts which are included in the admission charge. * After your yummy treat you will be loaded on a shuttle and taken back to the Visitors Center. The whole experience takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Dress warm and have comfortable shoes. No strollers or wagons. Pets are not permitted to this event.
Admission is $10 per person
Children 4 and under are admitted for no charge with a paid adult admission.
*There is an additional charge for children 4 and under if they wish to have cider and donuts at the pavilion.
