Halloween Costume Swap
This free, all-ages event is a chance to give your gently used costumes a second life, find a new-to-you Halloween look, and get creative with a hands-on art activity. Costume drop-off is encouraged ahead of the event so we can have everything organized and ready for the swap. Bring clean, gently used Halloween costumes, clothing, and accessories to Water Works Park or Graco Park anytime between 9am–8pm on the following dates:
Wednesday, October 21
Thursday, October 22
Friday, October 23
Then join us on Saturday, October 24 from 11am–3pm to browse, swap, and find something fun to wear this Halloween!
While you're here, jump into a hands-on Halloween-themed art activity and make something of your own.What happens to the costumes that aren't swapped? They'll get a second chance to make someone smile!
All unclaimed costumes will be donated to St. Anne's Place, a North Minneapolis shelter supporting women and non-binary-led families experiencing homelessness. The shelter provides a safe, supportive place where families can connect, heal, and rebuild—and where kids can find joy and stability.
Bring a costume, take a costume, make some art, and help keep Halloween fun, creative, and community-minded.
