Interested in learning tango before the event?
Argentine tango Maestro Iakof Shonsky is available for separate lessons to help beginners learn the fundamentals and feel more comfortable on the dance floor.
For lesson information, contact Maestro Iakof at 929-233-3886.
Lessons are arranged separately and are not included in the $30 event ticket.
A Little About the Music
At a traditional milonga, tango music is played in sets called tandas. Between sets, the DJ plays a short musical interlude known as a cortina that could be Salsa, Bachata or other.
For our Halloween celebration, expect a festive atmosphere with tango and other musical surprises!
