Dorchester Comedy Club returns to The Hardye Theatre this November with a huge mixed-bill line-up featuring three outstanding comedians and some seriously impressive TVcredentials.
Headlining the night is Hal Cruttenden, one of the UK’s most accomplished and popular stand-up comedians. A familiar face from Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week and Would I Lie To You?, Hal has spent years performing at the very top of British comedy. Combining razor-sharp observations, infectious energy and superb storytelling, he’s a powerhouse live performer and the perfect act to bring the night to a close.
Opening the show is Matt Richardson, comedian, presenter and another hugely recognisable face from British television. Former host of The Xtra Factor, Matt has also appeared on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, Dancing on Ice and numerous other TV and radio shows. Fast-paced, effortlessly likeable and packed with hilarious stories, Matt brings the kind of energy that gets a comedy night flying from the very start.
Hosting the evening is Luke Honnoraty, an award-winning
comedian and hugely experienced MC who has toured as support for some of the biggest names in British comedy, including
Romesh Ranganathan, Katherine Ryan, Joel Dommett and Russell Kane. With lightning-fast crowd work, effortless charm and a natural ability to bring a room together, Luke will keep the laughs flowing between acts all evening.
With two familiar TV faces and one of the South West’s finest comedy hosts on the same bill, this is shaping up to be a fantastic night at The Hardye Theatre. Grab some friends, settle in and enjoy the atmosphere that only a proper live comedy club can deliver.
